300 Inspection Points per sphere

Inspection is the critical piece to this project, and we were able to use Cloud Point Inspection on an incredibly minute part consisting of a series of 1/16″ diameter spheres on ceramic and adhered to carbon fiber for proper fixturing. Each sphere has 300 inspection points! It’s a piece so technologically advanced and calibrated, that it requires over six hours of inspection with a CMM probe. The result is an mobile truck MRI machine that is accurate and reliable.
